[A handcrafted card is delivered to Baiken's room one morning. Ahtem is the one who leaves it, but he slips it under her door instead of lingering. The card is inside a sealed envelope, Baiken's name on the front of the envelope.

Inside the card, Regina has written a note in a beautiful, looping cursive.]

I wondered if I might be able to bother you some about the creatures you mentioned while we were in the maze. If it's an uncomfortable topic, please forget I asked.

-Not what she'd expected for correspondence... But it was cute. She'd leave it somewhere on the vanity she never used. Baiken sent her own response back in a much less well put together package, a simple letter, and simple writing.-
